We are committed to the right to diversity training, enriching the entire school.

The Homework Learning Classroom (AAT) is placed after ESO and is post-compulsory for students with cognitive disabilities who have reached the age of 16, throughout 4 school years.

The Homework Learning Program promotes preparation for social and professional insertion of people with special educational needs. The central axes of educational intervention revolve around the maximum achievement of autonomy, adequate professional training and instruction in social skills. The established curricular program emphasizes preparation for life through the development of daily life skills; social adaptation; cognitive development; labour counselling and skills necessary in leisure and free time. Our Classroom is characterized by an active, interactive and multisensory methodology, intended to enhance capacities and autonomy.

When developing these skills in our work program, we created a curricular program made up of different subjects and workshops.

Social adaptation skills, cognitive development and the use of free time and leisure.
All these competencies and abilities are fostered in the Mainstream Classroom in basic subjects such as language, mathematics or understanding of the social and natural environment and in specific workshops such as:

  • Workshop on psychomotor skills, dramatization and body language.

The basic subjects are taught in the Mainstream Classroom, specifically and transversally developing digital competence.

Daily Life Skills
This is taught mainly through weekly Cooking Workshops on Wednesdays, we eat at the centre, the students plan, run errands, prepare the food, set the table, clean, etc. Other skills are also taught such as hygiene and safety habits for work through adequate garments for the kitchen.

Labour skills
This area involves painting, restoration, cardboard, clay and paper workshops, marquetry workshop, assembly section, and binding and laminating workshops.
